How to use a mattress topper?
Thankfully, a Peace Lily mattress topper is easy to set up. You may notice a faint new latex smell, but unlike the most common types of mattresses that use synthetic materials (which could expose you to harmful off-gassing and chemicals), the latex we use is naturally allergen-free, dust-mite resistant, and anti-bacteria – therefore, you can rest easy knowing we don’t add any chemicals to our beds!
- 1. When unpacking, use a pair of scissors to avoid making deep cuts to the mattress.
- 2. Unroll your mattress topper to let it expand. It may take up to two weeks to fully expand but worry not; you'll be comfortable sleeping on it straight away even during decompression.
- 3. Align the mattress topper with the mattress and place it flat on top. Line the sides evenly with the mattress edges.
- 4. Make sure the mattress and mattress topper are covered with sheets before adding the rest of your bedding.
