Plant-based, ethical, durable
Simply put, our products are made differently. Yes, we’re an online shop selling boxed mattresses that are delivered for free to your door. But what’s inside our boxes are incredibly durable and comfortable mattresses, handmade from pure rubber sap and organic cotton. That’s it. We also take great care in how we design, create, price and ship our products, to minimise our waste and impact. Our pure rubber sap is hand-tapped from trees near our factory and then vulcanised into our supportive latex foam. We don’t let anything go to waste, including the trees. At the end of their lifecycle (they can be hand-tapped for up to 30 years) they are chopped down and used to fuel the biomass boiler that creates the foam.
The foam offcuts from this process become our new, ultra-plush adjustable shredded latex pillows. At Peace Lily, we do what we can to find the ideal meeting point between price, sustainability, convenience, and comfort. This is seen in the materials we use, the way we craft our products, and how we price them.
