If you suspect that your product has an issue with the dimensions, the first step is to measure your product accurately, especially for mattresses. We have created a detailed article to guide you through this process, ensuring you have the correct measurements.
In the majority of cases, these variations are subtle and often imperceptible (within 2-3cm of size variation). This is normal for handmade products. To ensure thorough decompression, if you observe any differences beyond these slight size changes, please get in touch with us after 30-40 days. Dimensional Variance: A Standard Characteristic of Artisanal Craftsmanship?
These subtle size variations in our products stem from our dedication to utilizing fine natural materials and artisanal expertise, highlighting the distinct attributes of each piece we meticulously craft. This subtle variance is common with most products that utilize artisanal craftsmanship.
Our latex and hybrid mattresses, toppers, and other bedding products are crafted with acute attention to detail. Processes such as the material cutting and tape edge sewing of the latex mattress are all executed by hand. This handcrafted approach may yield slight dimensional variations as we strive to maintain the bespoke quality of our products.
In most cases, the immediate dimensional variations you may notice just after you have unboxed the product can be a result of decompression. We utilize a compression process to minimize carbon emissions through our "mattress in a box" model, while our skilled craftsmanship minimizes size variations to a bare minimum.
It is important to note that all products, specifically the latex mattress, will naturally decompress and return to full size after some time (normally 4-6 weeks). This period of decompression allows the natural latex to expand gracefully, aligning the products with their true dimensions. Hence, a designated period is allocated before entertaining warranty claims regarding size variations. Rotating your mattress from head to foot will also help with the decompression stage, to help evenly spread the latex and extend your mattress's lifespan.
