The right bed base keeps your Peace Lily mattress properly supported and well ventilated.

Our recommended bed base
We recommend placing our mattresses on a sturdy slatted bed base with:
- The slats need to be between 7–9 cm wide, with the gaps between each slat also measuring 7–9 cm. This spacing is required to provide optimal support and ventilation while also ensuring compliance with the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
- A centre support rail for Double, Queen and King sizes.
- At least 19 cm clearance from the floor for ventilation.

Latex vs hybrid
- Latex mattresses: best on a solid slatted base rather than flexible slats or cardboard-style bases, as latex is one of the heaviest mattress materials and needs strong, even support.
- Hybrid mattresses: a sturdy slatted base is recommended. Flexible slats can be suitable, provided the slat spacing and frame support are appropriate.
We do not recommend boxed, metal slatted, cardboard bases or ensembles.
Care tip
- Latex: rotate monthly for the first 6 months, then every second month. You can also flip if you enjoy both sides.
- Hybrid: rotate monthly for the first 6 months, then every second month. No flipping needed.
